PETER RIGAUD – STELLA HAMBERG for STERN

“It is all about the connection of the archaic and the contemporary and the relation of man and world.” (Stella Hamberg)
Peter Rigaud met with Germany’s up-coming artist and talented sculptor Stella Hamberg, who just recently showed an abstract of her work at Eigen + Art gallery in Berlin.
Stella Hamberg’s sculptures are balanced between reality and fiction. Her figures address directly to the viewer’s imagination and identification rather than symbolising a complicated and untouchable theoretical idea. Therefore Stella Hamberg is seeking for a direct effect in and of her sculptures. “Art should not be informative – it is not speech or language. Rather, art is an atmosphere, a scent, mood or temperature that can speak to you in a different manner.”
For Stern Magazine, Peter Rigaud accompanied the artist for over a month and captured Stella Hamberg at what she does best – pouring and soldering her vivid bronze sculptures.

JOACHIM BALDAUF – „Less is More“, Simple Yet Beautiful

Zeit Magazin
- When a new trend evokes on the beauty-horizon
The end of botox, liftings, boobjobs and tons of make-up is near. It was nearly a matter of time, when finally the age of artificial beauty fades away and it gets replaced by a new Zeitgeist – one that praises personal qualities and concentrates on natural beauty. One that is tangible for each and single one of us.
For ZEIT Magazine Joachim Baldauf carried out the concept of natural beauty on a 6-page-long story. Joachim Baldauf successfully put his models in perspective and illustrated the pureness and simplicity of the female beauty. Soft make-up and real personalities are the key to success.
