SHOTVIEW IS NOW REPRESENTING AMIRA FRITZ

We are proud to present the Paris-Berlin-based fashion- and art-photographer and filmmaker Amira Fritz!
Amira Fritz’s career started of soon after graduating art school in Vienna, where she was inspired by natural surroundings and flowers within a context of cinematographic images, lights and atmospheres. In 2008 her work was awarded at the Hyères photography festival with the Mention spécial du Jury, followed by a solo exhibition at the renowned festival in 2009. The unique cinematographic style with its painterly effects and floral elaborations attracts superior international magazines as well as the art scene. Thus Amira was assigned by Franca Sozzani for the Italian Vogue in 2009 to realize “Ever Manifesto – Third Paradise” with eleven up- and coming designers to present their works of ethically sourced italian textiles.
The special color palette and subject matter of her style resulting from the natural surroundings and shooting times usually around dusk or dawn implicate extremely seductive and emotionally charged photography. This fictional potential through special compositions and her very own application of light makes her a successful art photographer with exhibitions all over the globe as well as a frequently requested editorial- and fashion photographer, appreciated by magazines such as Italian Vogue, Zeit Magazine and Sleek an by clients like Tillmann Lauterbach, Matthew Cunnington & John Sanderson and many more.
At the moment she is preparing her upcoming exhibitions for both, the fashion weeks in Berlin as well as in Paris.

This issue of Achtung was especially focused on the Berlin Fashion Week of summer 2010 and featured a story shot by Jork Weismann and styled by Dirk Schoenberger the leaving “reinventor” at Joop and to-be Creative Director at Adidas. Weismann and Schoenberger collaborated for this spread with radiant actor Clemens Schick in the renowned Berlin it-restaurant “Grill Royal” showing just the best in current menswear design by Prada and RAF Simons. But the stunning series not only show fashion at its best, but also show what we love about berlins fashion, its fashion professionals as well as Berlin public figures such as Clemens Schick: intransigently, pure and therefore all-time classy. And no one could have wrapped that better then Jork Weismann with his unique, perky-odd style!
Jork Weismann, arising in Gmunden / Upper Austria, started to take pictures as a child and followed this interest after school until he got in business for himself at the age of 27. Though he is still being based in Vienna Jork is an extraordinarily demanded artist by clients all over the world because he manages unlike many of his squad to keep a very unique, minimalist style often referred to “the spirit of Helmut Lang ” mostly carrying a subtle critical but nevertheless humorist layer which keeps his sophisticated works always on a highly entertaining level.
The “mise en scene” of Clemens Schick in the Berlin snob concourse “Grill Royal” in his very special way is the best proof that this sophisticated style works ideally to introduce fashion in a an guaranteed anti-boredom way .
